Maven Power introduces the integrated Transformer and Balance of Plant Protection and Monitoring System (TBOPP). Designed to complement power generation equipment, the TBOPP system provides state of the art protection and monitoring of balance of plant equipment and electrical system protection of power transformers and electrical load breakers.
The TBOPP system is designed to repace multiple monitoring and protection panels at a fraction of the cost. Utilizing virtually no floor space, it is configured in a wall mount configuration and weighs less than 60 lbs.
The system provides extensive monitoring and protection:
- Power Transformer, Generator Step-Up/Down protection (both electrical and accessory protective functions)
- Load feeder breaker control/protection
- Power cabling protection
- Black start generator status & protection, remote start/stop
- Natural gas fuel skid and fuel conditioning status/alarming
- Liquid fuel skid and fuel conditioning status/alarming
- Alarm annunciation with historical data capture
- Network ready using Ethernet 10/100, AB, and SEL data protocols.
TBOPP is available for fast track projects and typically can be supplied in 3-4 weeks or less. It is compatible with power transformers of all sizes and winding configurations as well as all prime mover types (gas turbines, diesel gensets, gas engines).
